Don't need 56-inch chest to protect India from Pak: Sena slams Modi

The Shiv Sena today attacked the BJP for failing to do enough about the attacks from Pakistan along the border and in a direct attack on the Prime Minister said that one didn't need a 56-inch chest to protect the nation's borders.
"During the campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections Modi's speeches on Pakistan and Kashmir were inspiring. If you read the speeches by Modi and the BJP you will know exactly what the country is looking for," the editorial in the party's mouthpiece Saamnasaid.
"Does one need a 56 inch chest to protect the nation and teach Pakistan a lesson? That is debtable, but if you are committed to action then there is no need to measure anyone's courage," it said.

Modi, during his election campaign for the Lok Sabha elections had often referred to his chest size while campaigning and has been referred to by supporters a lot as well.
The party mouthpiece said that India shouldn't only sit and evaluate its losses.
"They have killed five of ours. We should kill 50 and get their heads to Shivaji's Maharashta. Maharashtra always respects the masculine and the brave," the editorial said.
The former BJP ally also questioned why the BJP-led government was following the same strategy that was followed by the Congress-led UPA government.
The editorial also criticised the state BJP unit for bringing the Prime Minister to Maharashtra for campaigning for the state elections.
"When Modi is needed in Delhi, the state's leaders by bringing him here and keeping him stuck here is harming national security, but who will say the truth here?" the editorial said.
The Prime Minister has been campaigning across Maharashtra after the alliance between the Shiv Sena and BJP broke down. Modi has been the party's chief campaigner in the state given the BJP hasn't projected a chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming elections.
