Petrol price cut by Rs.1.15 per litre, diesel up by Rs.0.50.


Oil Marketing companies have cut petrol prices by Rs. 1.15 per litre (excluding state levies).

The revision in prices will come into effect from October 31 midnight.

Retail prices of diesel have been raised by Rs.0.50 per litre (excluding state levies).
The revision ion petrol prices comes after softening of global oil prices and appreciation in rupee.  
Following are the revised prices of petrol and diesel in the four metros after oil firms revised rates with effect from midnight tonight.
