Modi hit out at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for his sentimental speeches about assassinations of his grandmother and father. "Influenced by TV, the Shahzada is not talking about the issues concerning the people but a family serial," he said.
Modi said that ruling party leaders are confused as no one understands their speeches. The leaders themselves do not understand either, claimed Modi. "Shahzade came to Rajasthan. Even Congress people did not understand what he spoke, why he spoke, for whom he spoke," Modi said.
Reiterating his demand, Modi dared Rahul Gandhi to name the Muslim youth who were in touch with Pakistan's ISI after Muzaffarnagar riots. In a rally at Indore on Thursday, the Gandhi scion had claimed that ISI was in connection with some youth from riot-hit Muzaffarnagar. He was criticised by the oppsition as well as minority leaders for his insensitive remarks.
Taking a potshot at the Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan, the Gujarat CM said, "Human Rights Commission has used such words for this government. Even they do not trust this government." "Minority Commission said the Ashok Gehlot government cannot protect minorities. So can you trust this government. The Governor of Rajasthan who is from Congress what did she say? If you cannot implement schemes, build roads let me do it," said Modi, targeting the Gehlot government in the state.
Heaping lavish praises on former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje, Modi said he had not seen a CM like her who was always concerned about her farmers. "She was asking me every time 'Modi Narmada Ka Pani Lao'," he said.
