Sonipat King Yogeshwar Dutt Make Us Proud.
Yogeshwar Dutt, the star wrestler from Haryana, recently won the gold medal in the 17th Asian Games. This takes his medal tally to 11 in all competitions. With his win in Incheon, he broke the 28-year drought of being gold-less in wrestling in Asian Games. Dutt is famous for ankle clutching hold and double leg-tackle. What makes Dutt the ultimate wrestler is his clean and swift attack on his opponents.
Dutt started his career by playing in the 55 Kg category but he quickly moved on to the 60Kg category. Irrespective of his recent cartilage issues he has beefed himself up to 65Kg category and won gold medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and also got himself the recent gold medal in the Asian Games.
Dutt had his share of ups and down in his career. He had trouble with his back and his knee. And due to his physical ailments he could not participate in the 2008 Guangzhou Asian Games. Here are the accolades that Yogeshwar Dutt has earned till now, and we hope that he will get much more for India.
