2. He worked at the famous American global ice cream parlor Baskin Robins during his teenage days and ever since then he has developed a dislike towards ice-creams.

4. Since Reconstruction he became the third African-American senator.




5. He met his wife Michelle Obama while he was working as a summer associate at a law firm; Michelle supervised him.




6. Being an Illinois senator, he made the state of Illinois the first to videotape all the interrogations in capital crime case by sponsoring a bill.



7. A school has been named after him as Senator Barack Obama Secondary School which is located in his father’s hometown in Kenya.

9. Obama purchased a house in Chicago in June worth $1.65 million which has 4 fire places in it.
